Yona New York & It’s A Wrap

The weather in Cleveland has been described as “soggy” and that feels very accurate. It’s been rainy and too uncomfortably cold for me to really wear the shorts I’ve been buying up in preparation for summer. So you can imagine my excitement when I got the opportunity to escape to Los Angeles for a few days to visit family and of course, take pictures of my outfits everyday (something I can rarely get to do here in Ohio)!
This  from  was one of the first things I packed for my trip and it was perfect for a casual brunch at a local vineyard/restaurant just outside LA where we were staying. The weather in LA was not quite as warm as I had hoped so this shawl kept me warm and allowed me to wear shorts at the same time. I wore it both open and tied and loved it both ways. It was such a versatile piece, I kept thinking of new ways I wanted to photograph it.
It is made from a soft cotton that almost looks like a beige denim but it wears with a much lighter feel than denim. Throughout the front, there’s black piping that adds an extra detail. It utilizes multiples ties to create another design element. I think what I like most about this shawl is that it’s really well thought out which is something I really think is known for. It’s easy to wear and effortlessly chic at the same time.
