Quit Playing Games: A Plus Size Fashion Editorial
A few people have asked my 2018 professional goals. There’s a few that I’m keeping close to my chest (for now), but I did catch myself getting caught up in the motions of blogging a bit in 2017. So for this year, I made it a goal to do more creative projects that focused on visibility and less just on clothes. Today’s plus size fashion editorial gave me the inspiration I’ve been craving.
Shot with Chicago photographer Ryan Deloney, this editorial features myself and my boyfriend Giovonni who is a transgender advocate and also one of Cleveland Magazine’s Most Interesting People for 2018. I wanted to shoot together because there’s not many couples that look like us in the media and also because we are adorable. Plus, we had matching sneakers. Shoutout to Nike for the Equality collection that we both love!
