I Modeled for Dia&Co!

A few weeks back, I traveled to on behalf of plus size fashion brand Dia&Co. While I was there, I had the opportunity to shoot a lookbook on fall sweaters with the Dia&Co team. The styling of the shoot and the attention to every detail was by far my favorite part and that shouldn’t surprise you at all because Dia&Co is a !
Last week, these images starting popping up online as advertisements which was totally surreal! Below you’ll find a few of the ads and all of the photos by Terry Doyle but first a little bit on my experience as a true model for the first time.
I get referred to as a model quite often. I understand that blogging seems so similar but to me, modeling is showing up to a shoot and being a blank canvas. Up until this shoot with Dia&Co, I have never done that before. I have never had someone else doing creative direction, hair, makeup, styling, and editorial photography. Blogging for me and even a lot of the modeling I’ve done is still very DIY but Dia&Co pulled out all the stops for this shoot.
They treated our lookbook like a magazine editorial. Every model had their own styling consultation. There was a seamstress on set doing alterations which is why this skirt is the perfect length for my petite frame. There was a manicurist! At one point, I was getting my hair done and nails painted at the same time. And once I got on set, there was a wind machine! I could get used to the Dia treatment!
The lookbook was all about fall sweaters and similar looks can be yours through your first Dia box! In case you’re new to Dia, let me give you a brief overview: for a $20 styling fee, you get a dedicated personal stylist, home try-on, free shipping and unlimited size exchanges and 25% off whatever you decide to buy from your box. Plus, that $20 styling fee is applied to anything you buy from your box.

Dia&Co is a great service for busy plus size babes who don’t have time to scour the internet for new threads or perfect for someone who is still finding their own personal style. !  And check out more images from my shoot below!

Thank you again to photographer Terry Doyle and Dia&Co for this experience! Make sure you to try out Dia&Co for yourself!
