Welcome to the Jungle with Rainbow Plus Size

If y’all know me, you know that there’s two things I love: 90s and early 2000s style and budget-friendly fashion. This plus size camo dress from Rainbow indulged both of my love of fashion yesteryear and it didn’t break the bank.

Although camo has been seeing a comeback lately, it’s something that has never really left my closet since I first witnessed the greatness that is the music video in 2001. This dress not only fits like a glove but it has a halter style neckline that has a very throwback feel to it. It’s not quite the plus size camo bikini that I am still dreaming of, but it’s still pretty great.

I ventured out into what felt like a jungle but was actually just an abandoned water plant turned park to take these pictures with my favorite Atlanta photographer, Benjamin A. Pete. From the outside, this appeared to be a normal park but we had heard there was an artistic goldmine off the trail and we spent a good half hour trying to find it. When we stumbled upon it, I was glad I wasn’t wearing heels!

Finding this hidden art gem among what appeared only to be a forest is a good metaphor for plus size fashion. It may seem like the style you want isn’t available to you. In a lot of ways, options are still limited, but if you keeping looking, you can find the hidden gems you’ve been searching for!
