This post on cute and comfy walking shoes for travel is long overdue. Since I got back from my , y’all have asking me about the shoes I pack when I travel. On my trip to Italy for two weeks, I packed seven pairs of shoes that included a mix of sneakers, sandals, slides and flats. I even brought one pair of sensible wedges.

Italy, like a lot of European countries, features many hills and cobblestone streets. Even though I traveled great distances by bus, plane, boat, cable car and chairlift on my trip, I still did more walking than I have ever done in my life except for maybe the last time I went to Italy. There were some instances were walking was the only possible way to reach our destination especially in small hillside towns.

I am glad I had researched and found a good amount of cute and comfy walking shoes in advance. Plus, I had my in case I ran into any problems with my shoes! I felt way more prepared on this trip than in ones in the past.
