11 Businesses to Support on Small Business Saturday

While consumers are encouraged to bust down store doors and camp outside on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday is going on its 4th year of encouraging consumers to shop small instead.
As a small business owner, I understand that the holidays can make or break a small business. One bad month or one bad collection release can be devastating to a business with only one employee. In addition to my own Small Business Saturday sale, I wanted to take the opportunity to show my support for the small business owners that I know work their asses off to meet the needs of their customers this season. They are all offering special promotions in honor of the day giving an extra incentive to shop with them!
Most of these businesses are woman-owned; many of them make their items by hand; and for a few, the owners work another job in addition to running their business. I am inspired by the creativity, drive and passion exhibited by these store owners. I encourage you to consider skipping that new TV at Best Buy (do you really need another one?) and finding something dope from this list of small businesses instead.
